WAKENYA WALIVYOMCHARUKIA MWIMBAJI CHRISTINA SHUSHO BAADA YA KUZIFANANISHA NYIMBO ZA INJILI ZA KENYA NA MUZIKI WA DANSI

Christine Shusho
DAILY POST 1.So what are her comments about Rose Muhando’s style of “worship”?? get real Shusho just coz you sing slow songs don’t make you the casing point of worship. We have great gospel musicians who sing worship e.g Enid Moraa, Kambua, Mercy Masika, Eunice Wairegi, the lady who sang Liseme, etc so just relax & fly yourself back to TZ. I would rather my child was singing to Daddy Owen’s tobina rather than those rap songs full of degrading language&videos. 2.It’s even worse when they attend the worldly groove awards and share same stage with worldly guys. its not evil to share a plate or a stage, but what is more important is for the gospel singers to make sure that they do it with a purpose of saving souls rather that enriching themselves and becoming famous. Gospel music in Kenyan is devilish arena now. 3.This is very sad coming from a fellow christian-if she really said this. The Bible tells us to resolve our issues amongst brethren and not before an ungodly world. Honestly, are all Kenyan gospel singers just entertainers? That is not the truth. Many singers in Kenya love Christ and sing songs that edify. In any case why have you been doing collabos with Kenyan singers if the music is not to the glory of GOD? 4.What about “napenda nione ukinibariki” why did she take the taarab track to put God’s worship song through, her old songs are ok and are a real worship but the recent ones are no better than Kenyan. As money comes in they also model the worship song into wordly trends. 5.I think she should not be one to comment yet she is in the same industry. Let the pastors tell singers about all this soon she may end up being like kenyan singers without knowing. 6.Truth hurts, this a reflection of the so called modern church. 7.U are also in the same mix. When u get to the stage and begin dancing whom do u glorify with your dancing?Singing and people getting what the message entails is what is important not moving your body parts. 8. Shusho is right. Most of the gospel today is a package of noise to entertain and make quick cash… is sitolia gospel? mateke? am sure Jesus won’t love these songs! 9. Ukweli mtupu. most of it is pure secular with a few mentions of Jesus and God. I am not saved and if this is the kind of music that should pull me towards salvation, i fear for myself. 10.Truth be told, the only gospel artist here were the late angela and emmanuel chibanda. the songs i hear today are neither worship nor praises. look at their videos; full of different dressibg styles, expensive cars, homes, etc. to the singing is about entertaining and making riches, rather than worshiping God. just look @ some of their albums titles, ‘ugali sosa,
GHAFLA 1. I totally agree with her, Kenyan gospel artistes are jst in for money and the dances you may thnk they are dancing for a secular song. 2.All of them are worse, the only remaining gospel artiste is mary atieno, God have mercy on this generation. 3. She has a point…in fact some of it is not even entertainment but crap.
4. She’s right but that list of icons, apart from Mary Atieno, the rest are just entertainers.
5. I do agree with christina. Kenyan gospel artists have turned gospel into entertainment rather than spreading God’s message. You can only concentrate on the dance moves but not the message. too bad.
